Women with ADHD: What is it like to be diagnosed later in life?

Delighted to be speaking at this conference by ADHD Foundation & ADHD Ireland about women with ADHD and sharing my account of lived experience.

Having consciously built a community and actively involving this community in my conference, workshops, and in creating my services, I can say with confidence that we are making an impact where it truly matters.

Our collective insights are not only important, but NECESSARY.

So if you’re a woman with ADHD, and ADHDer, or a specialist working in the field of ADHD, join me.

Pills alone, really don’t make skills.

Other women with ADHD have said to me that I understood how to help them more than their own psychiatrists.

The picture is complex, and there are blind spots and gaps in research in so many places where people neglected to study women’s health.
